Students Lend Helping Hand

On Friday the 7th of September Mrs Faithful’s year 11 Health and Human development class visited St Bernards Primary school’s prep classes. The visit was part of the course work that the class was studying about the characteristics of health and development of young children. By observing and playing with the children we were able to see that although they were the same age they were at different stages of development. Some children were able to grasp concepts earlier than others, some were taller, others were able to share, and some had big imaginations. By being able to play with the preps we could see first hand what we had been learning in class, which made it more interesting as we could relate to it.  Written by Zoe Levesque
