On the 7th and 14th of June, Year 7 classes travelled in two groups to Kyabram to visit the wildlife and fauna park. They had a wonderful opportunity to meet some of Australia’s beautiful creatures, many of which roam freely in the park. For an hour in the park’s education officer Kezia Talbot brilliantly showcased some of the reptiles that are protected in the park. Students were able to handle live lizards and non-venomous python snakes including the now rare Murray-Darling python. Most enjoyed this special opportunity to get up close and personal with the reptiles, although some were a bit hesitant about handling the quite large pythons! Thank you to Ms Lee and the junior school staff for organizing the field day.
