“EDUCATION IN A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY IS NOT TRIVIAL”
TIMOR LESTE FUNDRAISER
TRIVIA NIGHT –Friday 27th Feb
Why? For every $10 raised we can help provide building materials for the local Timorese builders to re-build the school. Not only are we assisting with the structural building the money raised will also help provide teachers and enable the students to access education locally. EIGHT senior students from the Galen College Social Justice group will visit this small village school, in Abafala village, Baucau region, Timor Leste, to participate in an educational program and provide basic school equipment, in MARCH 2015.
THERE WILL BE TRIVIA PRIZES, A RAFFLE AND AN AUCTION OF WONDERFUL GOODIES.
Where? ST PATRICK’S PARISH HALL.
When? FRIDAY 27TH FEBRUARY
Time? 7pm for 7.30pm start
Cost? $20 per head (Tables of 10 preferred). Ticket purchases available at Galen College office.
How? BYO DRINK / NIBBLES, Coffee Barista available, supper provided. Drinks will also be provided at bar prices.
