New ICT programs for students interested in Gaming:
Swinburne has developed new Information Communication and Technology TAFE courses in games design and development. Students can complete the qualification at TAFE and then undertake a pathway through their Guaranteed Entry Scheme into a degree. Engineering Expo:
Swinburne’s Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Sciences are running an Engineering Expo on Wednesday 30 November, 12 – 3pm and their Advanced Technologies Centre, Hawthorn campus. The expo will give students from Years 9 to 12 the chance to explore the range of engineering courses available at Swinburne. TAFE information sessions at the University of Ballarat (UB): During November and December, the University of Ballarat is running a series of information sessions about their TAFE programs. The Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning will be running its successful Architecture & Design Summer School for year 10-12 students from 12th – 15th December on campus at The University of Melbourne.
As part of our commitment to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to experience university life regardless of their economic background, the Office of Admissions is pleased to be able to offer 10 bursaries to interested students who would like to participate in the program. Students who are successful in receiving a bursary will only have to pay a fee of $50.00 to attend this 4 day event. Additionally, the Office of Admissions will cover the cost of accommodation at Trinity College for students who require accommodation whilst attending the Summer School.
