The Friends of Music group formed in 2009 to assist Galen’s Director of Music, David Ashfield with achieving his vision for the school’s Concert Bands. Our role is to raise funds to purchase instruments or to assist in hosting performances by the Band.
Our friendly group of parents or friends meet once a term in an evening at the school to decide what we can do to support the needs of the bands. We warmly welcome anyone to join our group and we sincerely appreciate the Galen school community supporting our fund raising efforts.
