Congratulations to Thomas McDonald (Year 12) who recently competed at the World Junior Cycling Titles in Switzerland. He enjoyed this amazing international experience, performing remarkably well, riding a personal best time. There were over 300 athletes from 40 different countries and Thomas raced in the Team Pursuit qualifying 4th and raced in the Individual Pursuit qualifying 6th in a field of 48. He rode 3 km in a personal best time of 3:18.114 minutes averaging a speed of 54.489 km/h. He was only 4.688 seconds off first place and only 2.656 seconds off the podium.
