Year 9 Humanities have had the artefacts of World War 1 (WW1) brought to them in a pop up museum located in the library. Items from the Australian War Memorial, along with those from a local collector were exhibited for students to handle and investigate. This experience allowed them to see and touch real artefacts such as slouch hats,
bullets and uniforms. A highlight was being able to play Two Up and try the food that soldiers would have eaten: tack biscuits and bully beef! Thanks to Sara Korman in the library for organising this museum, so that students could get more of an understanding of life for the ANZACs during WW1.
