As well as the jumper presentations to current Year 12 students and High Achiever Awards presentations, Angus Butler (pictured far-right above) was announced as the recipient of the 2015 LKC Bursary. This is a $5,000 bursary provided by an anonymous benefactor for a deserving and high achieving Galen student going straight into tertiary study in the year after finishing school.

Guest speaker, Eamon Halliday, a former Galen student now teaching the IB to hearing-impaired primary students in Melbourne, had a three-pronged message for this year’s Year 12 cohort: “Enjoy your Year 12 year; find your passion; make a difference in the world”.
