Galen will be celebrating R U OK Day on Thursday 13th September. A number of events will be taking place during the day to get involved in:
• Homeroom activities and questions including a slide show presentation,
• Tour of the wellbeing centre at recess and lunch
• Short films available via SIMON
• Message wall in the Wellbeing Centre

Information will be available including:
• Flowchart for Wellbeing support at Galen
• Helpline, eHeadspace, Beyond Blue
• Non-verbal signs – what to look for
• Supporting those who are supporting individuals with mental health issues (skills, checking in, supporting people who are helping others)

R U OK Day Merchandise will also be available to purchase from the Main Office, the Senior Study Centre and Junior Building 2:
