Year 7 FIRST Parent and Guardian Information Evening

On Wednesday, 18th February 2026 we will have our inaugural Year 7 Parent Evening celebrating F.I.R.S.T This will take place at our Performing Arts Centre & Year 7 Area The schedule for the evening will be as follows.
5:30 PM – Welcome & Liturgy/Mass
• Venue: Galen Performing Arts Centre
• Led by: Parish Priest Fr. Nathan
• Involvement: Year 7 students actively participate, showcasing what they learned about Catholic traditions during the day.
6:15 PM – House-Based Activities
- Venue: Year 7 Classroom Area
• Structure: Students grouped into their House teams
o Brigid
o Champagnat
o Chisholm
o Delany
o Glowrey
o MacKillop
o Patrick
o Vincent
Focus: Students demonstrate their learning from the F.I.R.S.T sessions:
o Integrity – Role-play or discussion on making ethical choices.
o Respect – Collaborative activity showing respect in action.
o Self – Reflection exercise shared with parents.
o Team – Group challenge or presentation highlighting teamwork.
7 PM – Community meal & Networking
Venue: Outdoor area near Year 7 classrooms
• Details: Parents, students, and staff (including leadership team) share a meal andmingle, fostering community spirit
