Galen Catholic College Senior Band and Junior Band entertained a full house of over 200 people at the Pinsent Hotel on Monday evening 16th October. Playing crowd pleasers such as hits from Coldplay, ‘Happy’ from Despicable Me, Beethoven’s Ode to Joy to name a few.
Year 12 students Olivia Curran and Lucy Lee both received awards for there efforts with the Senior Band; Year 8 students Brooke Watson and Erin Chadban and Year 7 students Matilda Paxford, Eva Gephart and Paris McLaurin were all awarded for achieving excellence in the band program.
Guests dining on the night were very impressed with the student’s collective level skill and musical ability.
