Galen’s Social Justice group has been busy rallying for those in need as part of St Vincent de Paul’s annual Vinnies Winter Appeal. Through generous food and blanket donations from students, their families and Galen staff, local people having a tough time during the cold winter months will be provided with some much-needed comfort. St Vincent de Paul members Loris Fletcher and Margaret O’Brien were very grateful for the efforts of the Galen community, commenting that the positive ripple effect these donations have will make a great difference.
