Galen’s fastest swimmers attended the Hume Region swim meet in Wodonga on Tuesday 15th March. Four individuals and both our relay teams qualified to race at state level in Melbourne in term 2, which was a terrific result!

Congratulations to Bridget Cole, Maggie Skewes, Gabe Watson, and Phoebe Osbourne who qualified for individual events. Bridget Cole also received Age Champion and Maggie Skewes broke two more records. A special mention to Lucy Hughes who was very excited, recording her first State Age time – well done, Lucy.

The girl’s medley and freestyle relay teams also won their events. Congratulations to team members Lucy Hughes, Phoebe Osborne, Bridget Cole and Jessie Gerrish. The 16 yr old boys medley team members, Zack Watson, Henry Lee, Gabe Watson and Harry Skewes were also successful, winning their event.
