I’m passionate and focused on learning, teaching and leadership development. My career as an educator began in 1988 at St. Mary’s Primary Ararat.

Since then I have been in leadership roles across several Secondary schools. In my role as Principal at Galen I continue to play an active role in our students learning journey both inside and outside the classrooms. 

It’s an exciting time with works underway for the $8M investment in a new Performing Arts Centre and stadium due for completion mid-2023. I invite you to see Learning in Action at Galen by joining one of our college tours. – Darta Hovey
