Galen Catholic College leadership group students and teachers (from left) Jessica Lewis, Amanda White, Matthew Turnbull, Jack Roach, Josh O’Donohue and Isabelle Lackner joined Federal Independent Member for Indi Cathy McGowan at Australian Parliament House in Canberra on Wednesday, 15 August. The group learnt about the role of a Federal Member, how Parliament works, and how they can progress issues that are important to them. A tour of APH, lunch in the Member’s Dining Room and Question Time were other highlights of the visit.
